DEVELOPER
The Genato Management Corporation was conceptualized in the year 1977 by the Genato Brothers. Mr. William O. Genato as the President adopted the name WIL-VIC from
the first syllables of his nickname WILLY and his wife, Rebecca’s
nickname, VICKY. He took charge of the financing requirements and the
technical know-how of the trade. It was formally registered with the
SECURITIES & EXCHANGE COMMSSION on October 5, 1977 under the SEC
Registration No. 76004. Initial business was as a wholesaler/retailer of
hardware and other various construction materials.
The Corporation started its actual operation on October 10, 1977 with
the (10) personnel. It had successfully tapped the construction
industry as its major customer.
In 1989, the Corporation amended its primary purpose – to real estate
purchase and development, sales and lease. Wholesale and retail trade
was relegated as its secondary purpose.
Its first development project was the VILLA REBECCA HOMES II composed
of sixteen (16) units of townhouses located at Conception, Marikina.
The said project was a big success as all the units were easily
sold-out.
In the same year, the Corporation acquired and developed VILLA
REBECCA HOMES II, located at Banlat Road, Tandang Sora, and Quezon City.
This is a subdivision project consisting of eighty-seven (87)
individual lots and which were fully sold-out by the end of 1991.
